On Saturday, June 09, 2012 over 50 local churches in partnership with CONVOY OF HOPE gathered together to put on a "Day of Dignity" for the town of Hempsted.
Together, Bethelehm was able to lead the way in:
-Seeing 156 commitments to Christ
-Serving 5,166 guests
-Giving away 650 pairs of shoes
- Recruiting over 2,100 volunteers
-Styling 153 haircuts, manicures and facials
-Praying over 3,100 guests
-Taking 680 family potraits
-Giving away Over 5,000 bags of groceries
All in all it was a huge success in serving a community in need, and we look forward to many more opportunities.
